We may or may not have a snow day tomorrow, depending on how bad it gets. Could be interesting.

So when are you coming up this way again? Since you know, I live here now.... we might actually be able to see each other and have dinner or something!

For that reason, yes, but I really do have a lot of work to get done. Damned students! :)

Spectacular Spectacular
Spectacular, spectacular
No words in the vernacular
Can describe this great event
You'll be dumb with wonderment
Snowfalls are fixed at ten feet
You must agree, that's quite a treat
And on top of all that snow
Surely now the ice will flow

So exciting, the audience will dig and jeer!
So delighting, it will snow for 50 years!

Haha, are you kidding? A single snowflake drifted down on I-95 a couple of years ago and - I kid you not - the event was immediately followed by the arrival of a snow plow and a huge, flashing sign that read "USE CAUTION" or something, I can't remember exactly.

Maryland amuses me that way.

I grew up in Philly, so it's not like I'm not used to snow, but sometimes, I just don't want to drive in it, ya know? :)

I'm really not fond of the stuff myself. I was more trying to express how funny it was to watch local people freak out. ;)

You think that's funny? Try living in Southern California - one drop of rain and the entire county freaks out. It's hilARious! :)
