As I said elsewhere, moderating SCA Facebook groups is like being the autocrat of an event, or running the encampment at Pennsic, or being the Chair of a con, but the event never ends - it keeps going 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. And it's being attended by 14,000 people from around the world, all on different schedules, so there's never a time when everyone's asleep all at the same time. And on top of that you still have to work your mundane day job and have a life.

I am grateful that things have mostly settled down, and that I have Laura and Janet to work with.
