Me and My... Mask of Magnaminty (Lush Cosmetics)
Today I went into town and found my local Lush store and bought quite a small haul of stuff, mainly for my face. I needed to renew some things such as the Coalface Cleanser and the Herbalism Cleanser. I also purchased a fresh face mask: the Mask of Magnaminty which, as the name infers, is minty!
After my initial and previous purchase of a Lush mask I thought it might not be such a good idea, but Mask of Magnaminty was the one I was originally going to buy before I was somehow tempted away from it and purchased Cupcake which did no good at all. But anyway I bought a small mask, and put it straight in the fridge when I got home. Then tonight, I thought I'd try it, as my skin has been feeling a bit grimy lately.
So I washed my face with the Herbalism cleanser first, and then applied the mask. I have to say, that as soon as I put it on, I was in love with it!! It smells so minty (reminds me a bit of the smell of Wrigley's Double Mint chewing gum), and it feels really fresh from the pepper mint, and the feeling is enhanced by keeping the mask in the fridge.
I followed the instructions on the tub and left it to dry. I could feel it really cleaning deep down into my skin. It felt really great, especailly on my forehead and cheeks which have felt the oiliest recently. Then I rinced applying circular motions to my skin, once again as directed on the tub. I patted my skin dry and applied some toner, then cream.
All I can say is that I should have bought Mask of Magnaminty the first time around!! My skin has never felt so clean! Even now, a few hours after, my skin is still matified - this didn't happen with Cupcake, and by now my skin would have been oily all over again!!
