Me and My... Hammam Face & Hair Mask

Now here's a product which is worthy of its price tag!  I received this particular item of Yves Rocher's Tradition du Hammam range as a free gift in my make-up purchases of last week as my order was over a certain price.  I thought it was nice of them to include this item as a gift as the whole range is quite expensive when not gifted, or not on special offer.

As it happened, I received my parcel on Monday evening, and the same night, I decided to try the prduct during a facial.  I had never been sure if I could use such a mask on my face, with it being oily, but the mask is a Moroccan clay base, with argan oil, rose water and corn extract, all of which are recommended things according to my little book about the best cosmetics for oily & combination skins.  Anyway, I started by using Lush's Herbalism cleanser.  After I had rinced, I applied the mask all over my face and left it for 5 minutes as directed on the tube...

... My thoughts when I had rinced it away and dabbed my skin clean with my wash glove?.... WOW!

The Vanishing Cream by Lush Cosmetics which I had been using a few weeks ago and which I intially liked actually broke me out in a few spots, but most worrying to me it created some black-heads in my skin (something I hadn't had for years).  When I rinced the Yves Rocher mask away two of the blackheads disappeared, and the two or three others have all come to the surface, and will probably disappear the next time I use the mask...

Not only is this a very effective product, it is also very feminin.  The smell is absolutely divine, and it is of a golden colour.   Although I gifted the other items of the Tradition du Hammam range to a friend at Christmas, this is the first time I have ever used them myself.  However yesterday I had to go out to the shops, and whilst I was out I popped in to the Yves Rocher boutique and treated myself to some other items in the range, as they currently have a half price special offer on in the shop.  In my bathroom cupboard there is also a body balm, a soap, and a body scrub in their pretty little boxes...  I shall be trying the balm and scrub tonight!!

Yes, I can honestly say that this particular product is well worth the money!!  The mask can also be applied to your hair, and will make it silky soft!  So, if you fancy really treating yourself, this might be for you! ;)
