bathing beauties
Could someone please talk to me about bathing suits?
What's the appeal of the tankini? I know I don't want a traditional bikini, but I've heard people raving about the tankini. what's up with that?
I just saw some terribly unflattering pictures of myself from this weekend, which we spent at the beach. Partially I was blinded by the glare from my upper thighs, which were incredibly white, especially against my tanned legs (you know, where my shorts cover my legs? it was like a fish-belly white). I think self-tanner or somethign would help there. Partially I have a really unflattering, cheap bathing suit that I hate.
I want a new one, but have not bought a new bathing suit in years, and haven't had a suit I liked, um, ever.
I need a suit that will be forgiving of my had-twins belly, also. I wear a C cup, boob-wise. My torso is medium-length, and I like my shoulders.
Help! We have a wedding to go in Puerto Rico in January, and I need to find a suit sometime soon, while they're still offered in stores, somewhat.
