Crockpot is like Kleenex... (TM)

Yay! I bought a 3Qt slow-cooker (Crockpot) today on sale for $9.99. Now I can put lots of healthy stuff in my crockpot in the morning and when I get home dinner will be made. They are safe to leave on for long periods, food generally will not burn inside, and unlike my oven the crockpot will not experience crazy temperature fluctuations that leave half of my dinner burnt and half cold after 10 minutes :s The only bad thing is that you're not really supposed to put anything frozen inside because it does not heat fast enough to prevent food poisoning... mmm, yummy Staph toxins!

I browsed online for some tips on how to use my new appliance and suggested cooking times. Not only did I learn that my Crockpot is actually a slow-cooker (because I didn't buy it from Rival, since their crockpot of same size cost $15), and that I need at least 2 hours to cook a box of rice, I also found this Excellent website with 1400+ recipes :) which I will post specifically for Indran
