*yawns* Work Complete!

Oh, I applied for the winter season Reservations crew, like what Jack does. I figured, why not? Sure beats staying up until two am every night. And since they don't have my job in the winter anyway, I thought I'd put it down just in case. They're probably gonna hire me for Housekeeping like everyone else, but i can try.

Anyway, I have an interview on Thursday. I think. The guy kind of caught me at a bad time. I'm not worried about it. I have good luck on phone interviews, which this one would be, since the job would entail being on the phones. I won't start until after my friend's wedding, whatever Xanterra may want, so if it's a choice between working the winter and going to the wedding, I'll be at the wedding.

I've been thinking about coming home again anyway. Putting away a nice sum of money and purchasing a car, Getting my license, going back to school. I could take some Early Childhood Education classes to boost my chances of getting that Disney Cruise Job I stare at when I'm bored. Maybe get my AA In Art, just so that I can have some actual training in it, and then go on to get my bachelors in education or nursing or theater or hotel management or whatever I'm interested in next week. I'm in no real hurry. If it takes me another five years ( as long as I have a job in the meantime) I'll be just fine.

But I have to work. I can't do what i did before. Even on my bad days, I can tell how much staying busy has helped alleviate the depression, the feeling useless. Yeah, the job may suck that day, but if i don't do things they Don't Get Done, and that means something. Not much, but enough to encourage me. Plus I like having money and being able to spend 18 dollars on a purse that i want for the sole reason that it's made out of duct tape is a powerful feeling. I try not to do that too often, because then I end up with clutter. But it is awfully nice to be able to sometimes.

money, winter, work, home
