Heh, I see your point regarding Property. Well, I see it now, back when I started reading it I was still fairly new to all this fanfic stuff, and the premise was fascinating. I do now realize what you mean when you talk about how difficult a story it is on a moral and emotional level, as well as the "rape is love" trope,

honestly, I read Untamable and cringed. my plot is fairly simple so I don't think much could wrong (pet escapes - pet lives in forest - pet meets and starts to trust other character - pet moves in, live happily ever after), but the way some parts are phrased, and the whole "sensing eyes on me" thing... anyway, it's an overall feeling I got when I read it - it feels shoddy and clumsy, the pace changes like a hyperactive bunny's heartbeat on speed... reading it just made me really, really uncomfortable with having that sort of work out there for the world to judge. *sigh*

it makes me really happy to to hear you think it's good, though! i'll summon up courage to type the end and post it one of these days (but really, I haven't even managed to write new stuff, and I've really wanted to. but the lazy, oh god, all the lazy, it's crippling, my fingers won't move)

man, DGM just keeps getting crazier and crazier, and all these flashbacks and mentions of past events and vague hints at secrets ARE REALLY ANNOYING. i've pretty much given up on coming up with new theories. no, wait, i still have one - Allen's the main character, he's totally going to be the heart, I just know it.
Leverrier and Link really ARE creepy. so creepy. *shudders*
