Property is finally, finally done!

Can you believe it? I sure can't. O_o

But! It's done, and now I can forget I've ever even seen the thing! This is so liberating! It's over, done, yesterday's news - I don't have to write it anymore.

I can't express how frigging relieved I am.

Jeez, I almost feel like I could actually write some fanfiction. Not ( Read more... )

Thanks! Yeah, I know that feeling. It was actually weird, because the last three days I just kept going BACK to the prologue. I wrote a bit, read it over, wrote a bit, saw how crap it was and got frustrated. But every time I closed Word and tried to do something else, it just kept bugging at me, until I went back to it. It was WEIRD.

But I'm sure you'll get to it, eventually. At least Untamable is way better than Property! :D

...aand, maybe? Though, I have no idea if I'm any good at writing humour.

man, I have to practically rewrite the whole last chapter and then type on the laptop, I just hope something like that happens to me eventually XD I have to disagree, though! Untamable is in no way better than Property. oh my god, just looking at my first chapter has me blushing like mad >_<

give it a try? maybe you'll discover a previously unknown funny bone XD

It is better! Way better! Plot-wise. I mean my writing was rather bad when I starter Property, but in my defense it was the very first fic I ever wrote in English and I got better. It's really the plot and the setting - or rather the way I wrote them - that are so bad. I should have waited a couple of years before starting on anything even remotely as DIFFICULT as Property is supposed to be (on an emotional and moral level). As it is, it has many short-comings. Namely, the unrealistic setting (come on, that's not REALLY ever going to happen) and, worst of all, it's practically "rape is love" trope all around. Even though I tried to make it not be. Hence the ridiculous time jump in the epilogue ( ... )
