Update
So I figured I'd update my journal, since it's been about a week.
My dad went on a business trip to Paris earleir this week, he should be back tomorrow. He was scheduled to leave on the 13th for Oman, but I'm not sure that'll be happening now given the whole cyclone thing going on over there.
Work's been pretty good. I still can't believe how good my current job is compared to all the crap at Southwest Doctors I had to go through. Amazing.
I filed a fraud complaint and police report for the check card, the new one finally came in too, which is good. Hopefully things will get resolved with all that.
Hmm, started a new World of Darkness game with my gaming group, plus I invited a friend of mine from Heroclix to play too since he had mentioned he wanted to play. The concept behind this one is that I'm having all of the PC's be freshmen at a university I made up, then weird supernatural occurrances happen. We'll see how it goes.
We tried out a Japanese restaraunt last night for the first time. Foodwise for me, it was about 3rd out of the 3 places we've gone to so far in the area. The sushi was fine, but with the beef udon I got, the beef was way overcooked. The dessert was really good though and the service was much better than any of the other two restaraunts we've gone to. A pity.
