Conversation between me and my dad:

The Radio: "...to talk about the problem of Global Warming...blah blah blah..."

Me: "And one day, humans will learn how to manipulate the weather and thereby screw over our world even more."

Dad: "It's always been the human dream to manipulate the weather. To do that you'll have to dominate the world."

Me: "Now I understand Hitler."

Dad: "That way, someone would make it rain in Africa and make the desert disappear. Then that person will say that he is helping Africa that way because it's all green. The problem with this is that to make it rain in Africa you'll have to take the clouds from some other place."

Me: "Great idea, really. And what the heck, the people in Africa are used to getting almost no rain. They adapted to it."

Dad: "And they will adapt again."

Me: "That could take thousands of years."

Dad: "But still they would."

Me: "And in the meantime we have a deathtoll higher than Mount Everest."

Dad: "Exactly."

The highlight of my day.

Now off to study!

being awfully silly, in real life, the wonderful global warming, thoughts, exams exams exams
