Okay, so...different.
Guess what? Here at this fine institution, a masters student not only gets a voice teacher but also a voice coach. Apparently Virginia has been my teacher all long, and yesterday's audition determined my coach.
And it gets better. Martha only took 4 students this year. As my adviser pointed out, "It's really an honor."
I'm taking several classes, but none are heavy-hitters. MT review, MH review, Vocal Pedagogy (yay!), Beginning Italian (yay yay!), chorale, lessons, coaching, and opera. 11 credit hours.
Here I go.
