Done with my stint at dear ole USA Fireworks in Fishers. It was really fun working with Courtney. Even though we lived together successfully, I'm somewhat surprised that we worked almost 26 hours together in 3 days and got along the whole time. We're just that awesome.
It was a good 4th. The customers were a lot tamer than I'm used to. Courtney and I wore our festive $5 Target shirts, hers with a firework bloom in rhinestones, mine with "lifelibertyhappiness" in rhinestones. Cracker Barrel for breakfast to celebrate it raining, which meant 2 fewer hours of work. Free fireworks for dealing with Sam's moodiness, even though it was just mini and crackling roman candles, a couple of fountains, and a few 2-color spaceships. I love those spaceships. Finally, back to the Bonfils' for real festivities. Kelsey seems to be somewhat of an addict, so we had a heap of mortars, cakes, fountains, and missiles. Some of the mortars that they got out of state were RIDICULOUSLY loud and RIDICULOUSLY bright. It was a good show, and now I actually know what the stuff is since Courtney was informing and quizzing me. And the sangria was super good. I really like Courtney's family, so it was nice to sit out, have a good show, have some friends over, and marvel with the rest of the neighborhood at the show. We even got a peek at Conner Prairie's show.
