A silly story and a mark of an awesome friend.
Okay, so I must record an incident in my head. I mean...the incident was in my head, and I must record it. Stupid syntax. Anyway, Jessica (yellowdello67) made a short post about the word "tarradiddle" and how she likes it. I agree, but commented that I could never use it. My colleagues would just assume I was messing up percussion terminology, and I'm already at risk of being labeled a music dummy for being a voice major. So I got a chuckle out of that. Then, my brain decided to turn tarra- into tera-, and I giggled at the sheer enormity of diddles.
In other news, I spotted a pair of shoes on Target.com that I absolutely must have. Alas, they've been there for awhile, and most likely will be gone by the time I get home. I shared my laments with Courtney. And, in true enabler fashion, she has agreed to buy me two sizes so I can return the pair that doesn't fit when I get back. It was her suggestion, I swear!
