But I have designed something that has finally come to fruition. A larger shelf for my DVDs, custom built and designed to fit perfectly into the corner of my room and hold nearly twice as many DVDs as I already have. As you may guess, this entry is pretty much useless without...
The plans that started it all, drafted in late April.
Although supplies weren't bought until late May, and construction didn't start until June, it took very little time to build.
The finished product, standing in my Mom's kitchen (we built it, sanded it, and stained it at my Mom's house, my stepdad has all his tools there).
And finally, the DVD shelf in action. This came out so well, I may design a bookcase for the living room, so I can get my books out my room and have some space for stuff.
Well, there's been other stuff going on too, but I'm tired... so I'm going to bed.
