Rose is now in the dorm
Well, this morning got up pretty late... lol the garbage men people bothered me. Must they come up so early in the morning? Lol Anyway, I was able to get ready without getting all stubborn etc.
My cousin Elmer came to pick me up in the morning and I headed off to Sandra's place. There, I met up with my mother and off to Marymount we went.
At Marymount, wow, I had to go through five people just to check in. We had some awesome people help us and I got my picture taken! At my room, I finally got to meet my roommate in person! She's such a sweet person! Right now she's letting me borrow her laptop so now you guys know what I'm up to. =D For some reason I feel nakie without my computer so... my mom was thinking of getting me a laptop. Yeah, I can update now! Isn't that great?
Well anyway, San helped me organize my closet, Elmer helped with the heavy stuff, my mom organized my drawers and that kind of left me having nothing to do. I love them so much, I just wished that they let me do something. At 4:00pm I said my goodbyes, I was so sad, and went back and got to know my roommate a little more in our tidy place.
After that, we broke off to meet our peer mentors, I found out that my leader was part Japanese and I knew it! We had to tell the meanings of our full name. I simply said what's in my info just in case you were wondering.
I had dinner after filling out this short info sheet and met more people. I just wish that I was good with names. I met up with this girl that I saw in orientation and we hung out. I'm glad to see some familiar faces. I saw Brian Stewart at dinner, but it's not like we talk to each other.
So yeah, now I'm up in my dorm updating my journal now. =D
