The Guardian review does a great job of summing up just how bad Wanted is: The spectacle of their strange gym-built bodies, variously starved and pumped, and the boring, risk-free digital "stunts," can't distract you from just how dreary and insidious the whole business is. It looks as if it has been written by a committee of 13-year-old boys for whom penetrative sex is still only a rumour, and the resulting movie plays like a party political broadcast on behalf of the misogynist party.
It doesn't quite capture the soul-sucking awfulness of the film or the dead-eyed vapidity of every character in it, but it comes close.

I really want to rant about how rape and sexual abuse do not magically become happy consensual fun times just because a story is fictional, and about how attaching the words BDSM or D/s to a story does not mean the dom can do anything he likes to the sub and it's automatically consensual, whether or not the sub has consented and whether or not the sub is conscious. But work is kicking is my ass, so instead I will just seethe quietly.
