I... you know, I honestly don't think SPN fandom (or SPN canon, for that matter) is any way notable for fucked-up gender issues, and I get annoyed when people say it's the most misogynist fandom in history, because, hi, let me introduce to you to every other fandom ever. But that's some seriously fucked up, women-hating shit right there. And hey, look! There's more.
I feel like I should have some kind of thoughtful meta analysis of all this, but I'm in the same place I was when there was that whole discussion claiming the only people who could have a problem with misogynistic insults were "motherfucking morons" -- torn between rage and the kind of depression that only comes from realizing just how overpowering and omnipresent this kind of thing is.
