Still sick. Still working. Mmm, lovin' not havin' PTO. Actually, it's not that bad. I'm feeling fairly decent, I just don't want to infect the rest of the office. Of course, I'm not the only one in this fix- there's a sign in the breakroom reminding everyone to wash their hands and cover their mouths when they cough...
Interesting sidenote on covering mouths- was talking with Debbie about the whole thing, and she had been talking to one of her co-workers who honestly believed that "if you catch a cold from being out in the cold- you know, catching a chill- you can't give it to anyone else because it's not caused by germs." So because of this, she didn't bother to cover her mouth when she coughed or sneezed. Debbie took a big can of Lysol in to work the next day to spray down everyone's cubicles. And here I thought it was always caused by not being taught proper manners. Turns out it's a direct result of ignorance. What do they teach people in school these days?
