Life goes on...
Just updating because I haven't for a while.
Played softball last night (I've been playing on Debbie's team for several months now.) Although we didn't win (we never do; lost 17-2 last night...) I did manage to knock one all the way out into left field, which is pretty difficult for a lefty. Then I got tagged out at second- I overran the base; it's tough to stop on a dime sometimes. Especially when there's people there and you don't want to crash into them. Oh well.
Debbie's taking me (dragging me along) to a wedding show on Sunday. I gather these shows are similiar to trade shows, except with wedding vendors instead of video games. We did manage to pick the colors for the wedding last week, though- we were wandering through Lowe's and she stopped in the paint section and picked up some color samples. Now we just have to hope we can find fabric that matches the colors pretty well.
I've been spending so much time at Debbie's place (three nights this week including Monday) that I've got tons of chores piling up. I'm totally out of food, and have one pair of clean socks left. Of course, Debbie's stuck working a split shift tomorrow, so I have tonight and all day tomorrow to try and get caught up on cleaning and stuff. And maybe even get some serious relaxing done- I'm still trying to finish Disgaea again. (Disgaea 2 and Guitar Hero 2 are both coming out in November! Yay!)
And that's it for now. Life's boring, but stable- and that's a good thing ;)
