Since Last We Spoke

I was back on the west coast last weekend and spent the Sunday at the Glasgow Book Festival badly hungover from the night before due to cousins, karaoke and home brewed limoncello. Glad you enjoyed Liz Lockhead. I'm inclined to agree with your assessment. I'm not a huge fan of her poetry either (though she does really bring it to life when she reads it herself) but her plays are fabulous and she is a highly entertaining speaker.

What a comprehensive cultural weekend !

I half promised myself that I would watch it at home when I decided not to go to the cinema to see it but somehow it keeps getting overtaken by events

12 years a Slave or Lincoln? Both are well worth a watch when you get the chance.
