All aboard!

Today is my last day at home in Glasgow and with my films finished I was at something of a loose end. I therefore visited the city's very own tall ship, the Glenlee.

I can only imagine a certain H. Hornblower would have been green with envy if he knew the captain had this in his cabin.

Yay! You made it to Glenlee! She's lovely isn't she? :)

Can you imagine Horatio sitting in that bath with his hairy spider legs hanging over the side?! XD

Toots loves those little rats. She has great fun counting them whenever we visit.

I found the rats quite delightful! I even said so on my feedback form at the end!

I love the table, with the ships biscuit, and is that burgoo?

And I thought of Horatio's spider legs too, when i saw the bath. I have seen those little pail looking containers on the Vineyard. I used to use one as a kid to pick blueberries. They hold a lot!

Hmm, that depends, what's a bugroo?

Burgoo is essentially oatmeal made with water. It might have other things in it too. It could be served hot, or cold. They ate it for breakfast.

Well then I believe it might indeed be. Oatmeal, or porridge as call it, sounds tastier I have to say.
