(no subject)
this morning, i woke up with the windows open and birds chirping. my dog cuddled up to me and behaved like someone else's dog (a good dog). i called my dad and we talked about baseball for a while. then, i went down to the central west end and had lunch outside. it's such a cute little neighborhood. we were in the shade and fed little finches pieces of bread. i came home and took sophia on a walk, where i saw friends from the neighborhood enjoying the day. i went to work and there was virtually no work to do. i came home and we went on another walk, and as i went past the coffee shop, sean gave me a free latte.
...all that was missing was a soundbyte for "on the sunny side of the street".
it's funny how all these little parts conspired to make me feel like i had an incredibly great day.
