(no subject)
finally got the internet hooked up in the flophouse. i jacked a modem from my parents and since we have stolen cable from the guy next door who works for charter, i felt it was a safe bet that this setup would work, too. in two days, we've already acquired 700 songs. we're beboppin and scattin all night long.
school starts monday and i'm going back full time. i'm still working full time. have to, because my insurance from enterprise won't kick in until november, and i can't afford a lapse in coverage. the betaseron is going well and we've now met our deductible and the drugs are free until january. i got an application for the townhouse in shiloh, but i don't know if we'll get it. it's a door or two down from the one kelly (and formerly alicia) lives(d) in. it would make me pretty happy to live there, man. i already know one of the neighbors and know the others are cool. i like staying here with liz, but i'm ready for my own space instead of feeling like i'm cramming hers. the landlordlady said she already had four or five people interested in it. maybe she was lying. i doubt it, though.
either way, we'll find something soon. i really don't know how i'm going to pull this next semester off. i work until 1130, get home around midnight. i'll be going to school M-F from about 8-11. I have to leave for work by quarter to 2. and my weekends from work are about to change to tuesday and wednesday.
good news is that with a tuesday weekend, i no longer have to worry about going to see rev. horton heat at mississippi nights on the 6th. i are a happy girl.
