Yes, Allyn must talk on camera for Winifred because somebody has no pictures of Winifred... >.>
IIRC, Pong played four chess games with actual people, one full one with himself, and took the pieces in and out of the box a lot. (And now you know how bad my typing usually is. :( )
Getting a well is completely possible -- I've done it maybe four or five times. Just not when I needed one, of course. :{ Have a lot of plants -- about as many as I had is good -- and make sure that they're all at the dark-green-very-happy-face stage at a minimum with no bugs. Make sure there is no trash in the yard, no gnomes or flamingos, no leaf piles and no holes dug by passing dogs. Make sure any regular plants are all trimmed, watered, healthy, and that all weeds are pulled. Also, if you can afford it, have a ladybug house or two and a composter with some compost going. My problem here was that the season was still technically winter and getting the plants healthy was pretty difficult, and also I missed a hole dug by a stray in the corner of the

That's probably why it wasn't possible for me then, I've only ever tried to get the well with the OWBC and of course they had a gnome and tens of flamingos all over the garden. I have an eco neighbourhood to try it all out in, I just need to get sims in it... :)
My new laptop auto-corrects my typos. It's rather unnerving, since I'm so used to making mistakes every 3 or 4 words! :D
I've earned the well twice now and both time there were plenty of thriving garden plants and no 'rubbish on the lawn.' Flamingos are codded to count as rubbish to the garden club, so I doubt any OWBC house stands a chance.
Amy, watch out it doesn't change words to what it thinks it should be! I've seen some funny examples of that.
I agree with Jo: be careful of those auto-corrects! I remember hearing once about a public library that sent out thousands of letters... that had been auto-corrected to "pubic"! Not exactly the same thing, there... :P
Allyn's great, I love how she talks on camera for Winifred. Winifred grew up pretty, as well. :)
Poor Pong too, that must have been one long chess game. The typos for his tiredness worked really well.
Urgh, the Garden Club. I still have 'get a well' on my to do list for this year. It must be possible (I hope)! :)
