I've never seen anything like that esme, what a weird thing to have happened. 0_0 My first intinct would be to say you have some kind of borked skin which would make this a cc problem. I'd pull the cc, load up a lot with no cc and summon her over and see how she looks then.
Edit: Of course with cc pulled you would need to add back in a summoning/teleporting hack.
Er, I don't have a summoning/teleporting hack, I don't think. Can you recommend one?
Also, the only custom skin I have is my Birth Queen skin. All the other skintones are straight Maxis. And nobody in Skye's family has ever used the Birth Queen skin. :(
And Albert does not have the blue gums//lips/cheeks thing going on. I was able to check.
Have you run a sim DNA scan on her to see what skin she's *supposed* to have? Do you have any simselves in your game that came with CC skin? It doesn't matter if the skin was used in that neighborhood or not, if you have a rogue default skin in your downloads folder it can affect any sims genetics. If you have more than one inheritable skintone for the same color (say S2) the game will just randomly assign one of those for the Sim. But this looks like you've got maybe a lighter skin overlapping an expressed alien skin.
I'd recommend getting the Sim Blender. You can summon sims to a lot with it (and use it for a lot of other things, like fixing family ties, etc).
Er, how do I run a Sim DNA scan? If it requires SimPE, I can't do it...
I have no simselves in game, and no cc skins except for my Brith Queen skin, which I made myself. (That skintone appears nowhere in her family tree.) It was based off of S2, though, and it disappeared briefly during the move to the new computer because I am stupid. It's now back in the Downloads folder.
I do have the SimBlender and use it a lot. I didn't know it could summon people, though. I will try that.
Thank you SOOOOO MUCH for the advice, link, and detailed instructions, Fuzzy! I am going to check out the link and copy down the instructions for next time. (Although I hope that will be a long time from now.)
While following your and Jo's earlier advice about "pull your cc and use the SimBlender," I figured it out.
It was her eyeshadow. Eyeshadow on = blue mouth. Eyeshadow off = normal mouth.
I feel incredibly stupid now, and am going to go hide. :(
