Setting
The living room of the Miller house. Caryl is lounging on the couch reading a magazine when Lucky and Timothy come in.
CARYL: Hi! How as the park?
TIMOTHY: Pawk! Dada Timmy go pawk.
CARYL: You and Daddy went to the park?
TIMOTHY: Yeah. Buwd pawk.
CARYL: You were bored at the park?
TIMOTHY: Buwd pawk.
LUCKY: We saw a bird - a duck. Do you remember the duck, Timmy?
TIMOTHY: Duh.
CARYL: Duck? You liked the duck.
TIMOTHY: Duh.
CARYL: I like ducks too.
TIMOTHY: (crossly) DUH.
LUCKY: Timmy played with a dog.
CARYL: Oh, a dog! Was is a nice dog?
TIMOTHY: Yeah. (picks his nose reflectively) Dada potty wawa.
CARYL: Uh… (looks at Lucky for interpretation)
LUCKY: I helped Timmy go potty on the big toilet, and then I helped him wash his hands afterwards.
TIMOTHY: Yeah. (clearly bored with the topic) Mama! Owange!
CARYL: One orange, coming right up!
