Creating cc question

So I'm wondering if any of my friends know the answer to this one... If I make facial hair in multiple colors, to go with the various hair colors, how do I make it so there is only one gray instead of four and so it's only one file instead of four?

Just to make it a more fun question, I have a Mac and can't use SimPE.

I had a random notion to upload Old Adam's mustache/sideburns combo, but currently it's only available for blondes...
