Birth Queen Skin
Okay, so here is my first upload for sharing purposes. This is a custom skintone, and I'm particularly proud of one aspect of it.
You know how the "Birth Queen" shows up in all premade alien family trees, like Pollination Technician #9's? I've always pictured her as having mannequin-type skin, and have written it into my story that Birth Queens are genetically special, with highly recessive genes, and quite rare. (In fact, at this point they're non-existent, and the various Pollination Technicians are trying to breed them back by abducting Sim males. Eventually, they hope, the recessive genes will be expressed again and there will be a new Birth Queen.) Of course, since this is a custom skin tone, it is actually dominant, but we'll just pretend, okay? (whistles nonchalantly)

That's Mom holding the girl. Mom has a normal Maxis skintone.
Toddler Boys
That's Dad holding the boy. Dad also has the custom skintone.
Children
...At this point, you're probably saying "What's she so proud of? That looks exactly like the ordinary alien skin tone!" And that's true. But watch closely!
Teens
That's right -- it's a sex-linked trait that kicks in at puberty! (am inordinately proud of myself)
Young Adults
Adults
Elders
