[Spoiler (click to open)]Pong is quietly made of Awesome in his own way, and is really quite good at setting boundaries. He's not like most reality show parents in that regard.
I'm thinking the meal thing *has* to be some sort of glitch, and the consensus so far seems to be leaning towards counting the point, so I will.
I think the difference between your fires and my lack of fire may be that the lot is not owned, or at least that it's not being played while in a mode that could save. I don't know why that would work, but I actually tried to set the sandwich on fire twice (the game crashed to desktop after the first attempt), and it didn't catch either time, so I'm guessing that it's not a thing that's possible. Although grills are more flammable than stoves generally...
Yeah, not one of Anastasia's better days.
I like Pong too. He really is Awesome enough to belong, although it's more like Abby's Win than Descartes full-on Awesomeness. You need that balance sometimes.
Anastasia was a Romance sim for sixty years; getting married is not exactly her cup of tea. And being told that your main attraction is that you tend to pee on things can't be a particular ego boost. And of course, if you aren't Anastasia herself, you really aren't all that important anyway, so who cares what your name is? (Anastasia is actually extremely similar to Cat. They would either be BFFs or would rip each others' faces off within ten minutes of being introduced, I'm quite sure.) Anastasia and Chris have two bolts to Anastasia and Pong's one, so I hope that helps with the household harmony. Figuring out that I could use Chris to fulfill that requirement really rekindled my interest in the household with Georgiana away at Uni, so it can't possibly be a bad decision.
Drama-making, perhaps, but not *bad*.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the chapter! Thanks for reading and commenting! :D
