Google Wave
It's been a bit of a struggle to get my students involved, so far only three are participating, but they are enjoying it (or so they say) and their work is promising.
So far we have corrected each other's mistakes, expanded and enlivened a passage with conjunctions, and I have started a story which I want them to build and create by themselves... this week's homework will be added as well, but perhaps in a wiki format as a link... they are writing a guidebook intro to certain countries, of course I want to publish the guidebook (well, pretend) with pictures and detail.
The students' comments have been along the lines of, this is fun, thank you very much, it's helped me... so, really pushing for the others to join in. I think that this Wave thing can have real benefits, I only wish I was a programmer, because I need to slightly alter it for my purposes, but so far all is good.
