Conversation Class

Feb 27, 2010 13:05

 Hi,
This conversation class (which will last for two hours) is the 9th or 10th class I've held.  The previous ones I cataloged on the Sheffield Hallam blogsite, but that went down :-( so I'll bring the post across to here in time.
This time, in order to complete my 1st psycholinguistics assignment, is focused on questioning students why, how, and what do they learn in ESL classes and more importantly, how does the outside world contribute to their learning.
I've set up a PPT asking questions relating to pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, learning in the hope of generating discussion from the students.  I'm very hopeful for this lesson, but it all can swing very easily depending on who comes to school.
Keep your fingers crossed.  I'll record the lesson and report back after I've had time to go thru the conversations.
