May 28th - Happy Anniversary
Today is the tenth anniversary of my death and rebirth. 10 years ago to the day I had a huge stroke which knocked me for six, and then some.
It had been a strange old day. Hungover from the wedding back in my hometown the night before I drove down the M1 motorway to my then girlfriends house. I know I shouldn't have been driving, that much was obvious from the road-rage which appeared with every stupid idiot cutting me up, undertaking, or switching lanes without indicating.
Then, when I finally reached my destination we went for a McDonald's. Not the healthiest of foods, but usually the perfect hangover cure. The rest of the day was spent with a gurgling gut and the sweaty forehead of England's hottest days.
