Final lesson, finally. I have been waiting two weeks to finish my PDP and start writing my portfolio.
The reason being lack of opportunity above anything else, but at last the time has come and hopefully I'll go out with a bang. Of course, I understand and appreciate the fact that my PDP will never end, I will always be learning, but PDP for the sake of passing a course is different from PDP in real life. If I didn't care, I'd just get the lesson over with and never consider this blog again... truth be told tho, I've enjoyed analysing what I've been doing and really see it as growth in my teaching approach.
My lesson today will be on one of my favourite grammar topics, idioms. Well, actually I would consider this more 'slang' than anything, but the boundaries are blurred. The arranged topic just says 'Couch Potato', so the school expects a lesson on the laziness and obesity of the western world and a condemnation of all this things capitalist.
