Ah...perfection.
I am at a computer sitting up in the hospital. With the exception of a few pain management issues everything is going well. My doc said the surgery went perfectly. I woke up with no ileostomy and I have already shed the rectal tube, the epidural, the urinary catheter and the IV. I even took a shower today. The diarrhea hasn't started eyt because I am still on clear liquids but I have already started using a barrier cream on my butt to prevent the irritation that will come with the diarrhea once I each solid food.
