First of all, I must state for the record, because it is Mother's Day, I have the greatest mother in the world... sorry for the rest of you out there.
But because it is Mother's Day, my sister got to call home (yeah!!!) needless to say, I was excited:) She's got less than a year until she comes home... and although I'm so glad that she is out and furthering the kingdom and whatnot, I will be equally glad when she gets to come home and be my sister again :)
OK, so semi-funny story (not half as funny as Kaitlyn's, but still slightly amusing). So today I went to church and it was grand and all and the spirit was there and that's always a good thing. SO at the end of RElief Society (that's our last meeting) we end like 10 minutes early and they give time for testimonies. Now last week, fast sunday, I kind of felt like I needed to get up, but I didn't, because I'm a coward and getting up in my home ward. I don't know why, but I seriously always have... I don't think I've born my testimony in my home ward since I was about twelve years old. So I'm sitting there thinking OK, well the Lord's telling you that you HAVE to get up, so just stand up stupid. So this one lady sits down, there's silence for a few minutes and I'm getting all nervous, until at the climactic moment I stand up and start to talk and after about 5 seconds the door opens and little primary children start pouring in the room to sing to their moms and I'm feeling really sheepish anyway so I distractedly mumbled through something resembling a testimony and sit down feeling really stupid :) But what do we live for but our awkward moments, right Dani? :)
Ok so maybe it wasn't that funny after all... hmm, I think I'm going to stop telling things that seem funny, because they never turn out the way I think they should, which is funny. Awkward.
Hey so randomly the movie theater here was playing Pride and Prejudice, which I never went to go see in Provo, so me and my sister went and it was fun... I thoroughly enjoyed it :)
WEll I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day, even though no one should be a mother yet :)
