Happy National Marie Day!
Yes...today is National Marie Day. Back in 2004, I realized that there wasn't a US National holiday in August, so I decided to declare August 12th National Marie Day. It's just stuck and has been celebrated, at least by my small social circle, every year since.
Too bad I was stupid and didn't know at the time that it was also the anniversary of the day that Jeff's best friend from high school tragically killed herself. So it's also Remembrance Day.
Celebrate and mourn...all rolled into one...
