My dilemma
I’d like opinions please…
Should I try out for CDVE? I would really like to, but I don’t know if it would be fair to the group. I couldn’t go to Sun Valley. It’s not that band is a higher priority over choir, but the marching band is more dependant on every single person than a choir is. Still, it doesn’t seem right for me to commit to a group and not be able to do everything for them. Even though I want to be in it quite a bit (I really do miss choral jazz), I’d rather have a good and happy CDVE without me, than to have me bring it down. Should I just let them decide what’s best for the group? I don’t want them to feel any pressure and let their logical judgment be impaired just because this is my last change to be in it. Perhaps I’m not even good enough to make it this year, I don’t know, but somebody please tell me what I should do.
