Things have been going pretty well for me lately, actually. I've been going out more, meeting people, making new friends. Cari-An and a few of her friends actually came out with me last Tuesday night, which was pretty awesome, even though she left early for some reason.
*points* I know those faces! That's a pretty cool ceiling, too.
Life... life. Hmm. Not bad, I think. Sox (she was the older black and white dog) died a few weeks ago. She was around 18 years old, so she lived a long life. Mum was really upset though. We buried Sox in the backyard, and there's a little bush planted on top of the grave. How's your Tobias?
I popped into Frankston TAFE on Wednesday. Thinking about hitting the books next year; nursing course. I'll be applying for Uni again also. *crosses fingers* Sabuti and I have been trying to motivate Matt into continuing his schooling, too.
Saw Chris at Cranny Centro yesterday. Didn't recognise him at first! I looked a second time and - 'woah, that's Chris! zomg'. Then I was all, 'should I say hello, hmmm, mebbe it'd be weird', etc. But he smiled and nearly bowled me over with 'HEY REBECCA!!!'. He's gotten scruffier :P
New friends area good. Refreshing. I've only kept in contact with 3 friends from school, and the rest are friends from work, or friends I made through other friends.
I'm afraid I've been a very bad Harry Potter fan. I've yet to see the movie! I was meant to go with Nicole, but I didn't book tickets this year, so all the good seats were taken already over the last 3 days. I'm going to some breakfast shindig in Frankston for the release of the last HP novel, and there's a best dressed Harry competition, so should be interesting :P

I'm sorry to hear about Sox. To live to 18 years old is a really good life for any dog. Are the other dogs going okay? Tobias is settling in well. Still hates my brother, and is usually scared into submission by Abbey. She likes to chase him around and pick him up a lot more than he's used to.
Chris mentioned that he saw you, and had to do a double take as well before he recognised you! I think Dawn's planning to cut his hair soon, to reduce the scruffiness. He's regressing into the old "Shaggy" character we once knew and... insulted at every chance we got. :p
Seen Harry Potter yet? I saw it on Tuesday night with Dawn, Chris and Chantelle. I liked it. It wasn't the best thing ever, and I haven't read the book in a long time, but it was well done, I think.
I also saw Regina Spektor live in the city on Saturday night, which was amazing. I went by myself, though, because so few people I talk to know who she is. It was a great night, nevertheless.
The other dogs are fine. Did I tell you I got another pup last year? She's a pug, but they bred her nose out - no flat face. Her name's Cookie Monster, don't laugh! And she's white with one or two honey spots. She's my baby :P She's got a hell of a lot of character.

Yesh!! I saw Harry Potter on Tuesday night, too. Tight arse Tuesday eh. I really enjoyed it! But I'm a SFX whore, so I loved the end. It's my fave HP movie so far. I thought Luna was fantastic, too.
Gah. Must have been fantastic to see a performer that you adore so much. Were you bouncing off the walls before you went? *poke* I don't think I would have been able to go by myself, I'd have to drag someone with me to share the love, even if they suffered. Sucks though when a singer/group isn't well known, so it's harder to share the love. I have that problem with the peeps that I like *points to banner and preens (photoshopped that myself, bwah)*; DBSK. They're a Korean acapella group, so obviously not a big hit in Australia. I tend to fangirl over them a lot and annoy everyone around me :P HOWEVER! I did get Cari-An into them, and got a DVD of some of their hits for her b'day.
How long did Regina's show go for? Did you take piccies? WAS IT ABSOLUTE AND COMPLETE LOVE?
