On
lsirial request, here is my trip report.
I left for Japan on April,17th (arrived there on 18th) and had a 2 weeks holidays in different places.
I'll make an etry for each day (let's see if I can go 'till the end, this time).
So first day, I left France around 13h. I flew Air France Airbus A380. This baby:
I was lucky enough to be allowed to enter cockpit and spent about 3h talking with pilots and cabin attendant. They showed me everything about that aircraft. It was very interesting and I spent a lovely journey. Then I went to sleep and went back to the cockpit to land in Narita Airport.
Did you know there were 2 "stubborn" house owners on that airport?
One of them has prevented the construction of a 3rd runway on the airport, and the other one forces airplanes to taxi around it. I can't believe those peope still live in the middle of this airport! It must be so noisy.
When I arrived at Narita airport (after taking my luggage, going throuh immigration ...) I met my friend Sandra with whom I spent most part of my holidays.
We headed to Kisarazu! (yes, we wanted to see all filming spots).
We got out of the train station (west exit) and couldn't find coin lockers big enough for our suitcases. We left our bgs and went outside. From where we wrer, we couldn't see Mimachi Street, so we randomly walked further around the station. We found the school and had a walk around .
When we went back around the station, we found tourism office (and THE street). The lady at the office offered to keep our luggage since we wouldn't stay long and was very surprised to see 2 foreigners coming to visit Kisarazu filming spot ^^
Remember?
We managed to get some omiyage (a map with all movie spots, a paper glass and chopsticks of the movie ^^). We talked with some shop owners who told us their experience when they were filming...
Then, back to Tokyo. We went to our ryokan in Ikebukuro, we checked in. The room was quite small, but it was ok ^^
I took a shower (I really needed one) and we set off to Nakano. Unfortunately, we didn't have much time before shops closed. Then, as I wanted to show Sunshine city to Sandra, we went there (and to Book off, of course, where I found 2 Arashi albums and Voyager RE from V6). We stopped at a curry house: we were quite hungry since we hadn't eaten since breakfast.
Back to the hotel, time to sleep.
