2011.08.28 - V6 concert report - Kobe
First, I want to thank people who helped me or tried to help me to get V6 concert tickets. It was really hard to find some, and you all helped me so much. I felt really depressed while I was looking for them in vain. But you offered me the possibility to see a wonderful live.
So, once again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
I entered Kobe World Hall around 16h15. Right after the entrance, there were flyers for Lovely Baby. I took some for me and my friends (this flyer is gorgeous).
I found my seat quite easily (and promised my friend I wouldn’t do anything illegal xD)
I was quite early (the concert was to start at 17h00). So while waiting on my seat, a woman one raw below noticed my hand made uchiwa and came to talk to me for a short while (her fav is Sakamoto ♥)
Soon after, my friends from below waved their hands to me. I waved back. My block is L, raw 12 (so quite close to the scene).

My memories start to be blurred… I may forgot things and/or mix them a little ~I’ll correct once I can read other concert report xD
Right before 17h00, lights were switched of….and we started to hear the sound of Will.
My friends had told me that V6 member would come from the end of the stage (at the bottom of the star-shaped stage). They would appear like they were lying down and get up vertically (sorry, it’s hard to describe precisely in English~) Ken was wearing a cap, Okada had his hat.
I didn’t know who would appear in front of me…..so I waited…..and it was Nagano!
He looked all around the audience, like checking each raw of seats… by that time, I tried to see where other members were.
They started to sing Will, my souvenirs of that part is quite blurred. They went along the stage then reunited in the centre.
Next song was OK
They joined altogether and went around the stage for this song. I noticed Sakamoto for first time of the concert there….and OMG he has such a wonderful aura on stage!!!!! I was really surprised. For some time, I almost forget the other 5….He is really really hot!!! Believe me ^^
Right after, it was Break the Wall.
They went all in the center of the stage and started to dance. Dance choreography is cool (I loved their choreography for this concert). They had cool steps.
Crank it up also had a cool choreography. At that point, I noticed all the penlight in the audience, flashing different coloured lights at the same time. It was nice. I love the movement we made with penlight for this one.
The great Sexy! Honey! Bunny! was the following song. They did the choreography like in the PV. At one point, they were by pair…and Ken was laughing with Go.
At the end of the song, they all left the stage.
Only Kamisen came back for 12ヶ月. Ken appeared at the far end of the stage (from the place I was), Okada in front of me and Morita, on the right side, a little bit further. They started to sing, lights focusing on each one while they performed their part. During music part, Ken had some lovely step dance in centre stage.
At the end of the song, the left and gave way to Tonisen for Days~Tears of the world. Tonisen all apperead from below on the long line part of the stage. Then, Sakamoto and Nagano disappeared under stage to let Inocchi sing his part. At the end of ‘I love you (x3)’, he went down and gave way to Nagano. Same, at the end of his ^part, he went down and gave way to Sakamoto. *another hard breathing moment for me, there*. Then, they were altogether to sing the song.
We they left, the stage became all black. From the other part of the stage, reddish light came up on Morita, lying down lasciviously on the floor. He got up and sang 官尾. Cool dance step, nonchalant walk, he came in the centre of the stage were he light up 4 bulbs that gave a dim light, and very intimate atmosphere. At they end of the song, he snapped off the bulbs with his fingers and went back to his initial place, lying again, and disappeared…
Next solo is Nagano’s 桜色桜風, Solo is very calm, so is the performance. While he was singing, petals of flowers were dancing all around him.
It was followed by Sakamoto’s Happy Happy Birthday; First, I have to say that this solo is FAR from being my favourite (neither among solos of Ready? album, nor among Sakamoto’s solos). But!....He arrived in the centre of the stage, wearing a white jacket with pin badges on the sleeves and in the front, and tight black pants. His outfit was cool! Soon after, Ken & Go appeared and came in front of him to dance (and the dance is cute: it goes very well with the song!!!!). Both were wearing the same jacket as Sakamoto (apart that Ken had covered the back of the jacket with badges….)but both wore harem pants with zebra print on them. I hate that kind of pants, but well….I didn’t care at that moment XD. Soon after, Okada and Inocchi appeared as back dancers and Sakamoto continued singing Happy Happy birthday, V4 dancing! And I could notice that Zebra harem pants were for Kamisen and Tight black pants for Tonisen. By the end of the song, they all rushed towards one end of the stage, while the centre was going up, with long sticks around: it represented a birthday cake with it’s candle. Go & Ken were the last ones to cross the stage, they were fooling around, and Ken must have been a little bit late since he stumbled upon the ‘raising cake’ XD. Then, on the big screen, they showed one fan who was in the audience and Sakamoto wished her Happy Birthday, asking if she enjoyed….and some more I couldn’t quite understand. I really liked that performance ^^
Next song was New Day I was so happy they included this song in the concert. I love it. They sang it, playing with lights on each ones according to who was singing. They came all around the stage during the song.
It was followed by Catch. Like for New Day, they walked all around the stage while singing, they threw some balls (very few) to the audience.
Then, they sang Walk...I don't have many memories about ot. But the song is lovely.
Next was MC. Staff chose a theme for them. It was 声(Koe - Voice). I didn’t quite understand what they were saying….I hope someone will make a report of that MC XD. Inocchi talked a lot. Nagano tried to sing something, with a strange voice….I don’t know what he was trying to do ~~~ Ken promoted his butai Lovely Baby (showing the wonderful flyer). Inocchi started to fool around with the title of the stage play. He asked Ken whether cameraman was a man or a woman. Ken answered ‘Otoko?’ (he didn’t sound sure of his answer…XD). Inocchi and Ken promoted the single, showing goods you would get if you bought different versions at concert venue. And the message you could write and put on the panel when buying Regular Edition. They also showed the photo they took in front of the panel. They also made Okada show how to do Sakamoto’s “Sexy!” at the beginning of the song
After their talk, they showed a short video clip made during their trip in America. …The one where, at the beginning, Morita eats a banana, and Ken calls him ‘Monkey, Monkey!’.
They started to sing again with Only Dreaming. They stayed and danced in the centre of the stage.
It was followed by Mission of Love. The more I listen that song, the more I like it. Once again, they had cool dance steps and choreography was great!
Next was Medecine. I don’t really have many memories about all those songs. I just enjoyed listening to them and watching them perform
And….another batch of solos… First was Okada’s Yorokobi no uta. This song is nice. I love the music, and while he was singing it, lights projected flowers among the audience. Cute song, cute lights. At the end of Okada’s solo, Inocchi appeared in the centre of the stage from below, holding his guitar and with an harmonica in front of him.
Okada went to him, and they started to chat. Okada started to say he liked Inocchi’s solo but messed up with the title, saying ‘Tooi took made’…At that point, Inocchi insisted on his solo’s Tooi Tokoro made. I love when Inocchi specifies ‘Inocchi desu’. The song is nice, it sounds like him ^^. And I’m impressed he can play the guitar and sing or play the harmonica at the same time!
Last solo: Ken’s Kanashi hodo ni A.I.DO.RU~Glass no kutsu. He wore dark clothes with fluorescent shoes (left shoe was pink, right was yellow). He appeared at one end of the stage, a little bit further, there was a glass shoe on a table. He covered it with a velvet piece of fabric and started to sing and…. DANCE!!!! His dance was really cool! (sorry, I can’t describe it… I really need a DVD of this concert) He went all along the stage. And really, great dance steps!!!! This is my favourite solo and solo perf from this concert. By the end of his solo, Lights went again on the table that had been moved on the other side of the stage and the shoe had been uncovered. Ken left the stage taking out his ring and throwing it away.
Little aparté. On the screen they played music of each solo, showing images of their perf (10 seconds each). Each member appeared side to side while his solo was played, they used colour lights on them as they appeared. First was Morita, then Nagano, then Sakamoto, then Okada, then Inocchi Ken at last.
New outfit there, softly sparkling.
They all came back and sang You know? in the centre of the stage. That song is great live!!!!! They had (once again) a great choreography. In the middle of the song we could hear an explosion and staff released ribbon tape (I think it was the golden ones there).
Next was the ballad Air. They sang it in the centre of the stage, a curtain surrounding them all.
After, was their new song SUPERNOVA . They were all in the center of the stage. Six long poles were surrounding it. The song is great I need a single/CD/whatever…but a ‘real’ version to listen to it again. It’s quite upbeat, different rhythm in it. They did pole dancing!!!!! And they were classy. The song is great, the choreography is great. THAT WAS A WONDERFUL SURPRISE!
Next song is Guilty. They performed usual dance for it.
Another ballad: Aitakute. I love the songs they chose and how they set tracklist. It’s a good balance.
Last song was Ashita no kasa
Audience started to shout ‘ENCORE’, it sounded quite shy from where I stood. Nonetheless, V6 members reappeared, wearing Jeans and T-shirt (each one had a different colour). Ken was also wearing that kind of hat…Only Ken and Sakamoto were wearing Panda T-shirt. Ken had cut it behind to customize it (it was cute, but I wouldn’t dare cut mine XD). He also had a sleeve up to his shoulder so we could see he had temporary tattoos on his right arm (they looked like $bills).
‘Encore’ seemed short. They sang Good Day!!! They made us sing the beginning of Good Day!!
Honki ga ippai : Okada played with us ‘Everyone altogether’ for the ‘Hey!’ and made us repeat it several times.
Darling: they only sang 2 lines of the song…
Cosmic Rescue, Ai nanda, Honey Beat
Sexy! Honey! Bunny! : Inocchi made Okada show how to do Sakamoto’s “Sexy!” at the beginning of the song.
They went all around stage and up, they really looked like they were having fun! They thanked us all, left, and Ken kissed good bye.
When they left, people shouted 'Mou ikkai' and ‘Encore’ again. Members came back for another good bye…..and Sakamoto kissed good bye ♥
Few things I don’t remember WHEN they occurred:
- They took that kind of elevator to go up and around upper blocks. Nagano, Morita, Okada and Miyake went few metres above my head during those moments ♥
- Outfits (apart from harem pants, from my point of view) were nice: shiny, classy.
- During one ballad, they stayed by pair. Sakamoto redo Okada’s hair (and many fans shouted at that moment)
