The Danish government has apparenlty decided to make it easier to fight hate crimes [Danish]. Back in 2011 a rapport from the Institute for Human Rights showed that… we got some serious fucking issues, which we need to deal with [Danish]: shitloads of cases don’t get reported, the Police actually reject cases, and several cases, which does fall under the ‘hate crime’ definition, get treated as a normal crime. Several victims - especially with a Danish background - view reporting it as a waste of time, and the police itself describe itself as a) having a lack of awareness/knowledge of the law (paragraph 81, nr. 6), b) not having the time to deal with the crimes (lack of resources), and c) that there plain simply are police officers who lack empathy for the victims. And considering that a 2010-rapport from EU [Danish] shows that after the Romanis in the Czech Republic and the Somalis in Finland, the Somalis in Denmark is the group which experience the most hate crimes due to their religion and/or race in the EU, I will just say…

Btw, the spelling control on the Internet has apparently dissapeared. Considering my spelling is right for the trash can, I better warn that untill I get this fixed there will be many spelling mistakes - and as much as I appreciate comments on my grammar - 'cause that's something I actually got the ability to improve -, telling me that there should be, idk, two "S"s in "dissapear" will just make me go "right, whatever". Sorry, but I've gone to too many "extra spelling classes" to care anymore.
