Short film: Tungijuq, 2009.
"Tungijuq" from 2009 is - in my views - a very beautiful short film about the seal hunt starring the Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq. Do yourself a favour and watch it. Traditional Inuit seal hunting only make up 3% of the total seal hunt, and at least in Greenland, which do not have a strong economy, many families and several communities depends on the seal hunt and the export of the fur to Europe.
