OMG. OMG. Regarding that trigger-discussion going on in fandom, have any of you guys read aukestrel (the girl who used the "Victim privilege"-term and victim blaimed impertinence) socalled apology?
I'm sorry to I am sorry for my hurtful words. I failed to understand how sensitive and needful of compassion the situation was. I approached the conversation with impertinence as I would an intellectual conversation with one of my own teens. Yes, they are greatly to be pitied. I did not intend to hurt impertinence or to add more stress to the difficult and emotional situation that she is already in. I had nothing to add to the conversation and should not have said anything. I have nothing but sympathy for victims of any kind of abuse.
Related to that, I am not happy with who I am on LiveJournal. It's a difficult place for me to be. I should have removed myself from the entire LJ situation a long time ago and regret that I did not do so before this happened.

Dude, if that girl thinks she sounded intelligent, then it's not her fellow teens who should be pitied, then it's bloody hell her, 'cause being a sexist fucktard in a conversation is a direct road to an unintellectual conversation. Like, ya know, mentioning the most important players in my life (as I do talk a bit about my RL life) and a short description of mah ~*history*~ with them. And I should probably also explain my interests and my political POV. And probably some random crap I'll never mention otherwise. Or something. idk. Thoughts?
