Nothing particularly bad happened today, I'm just feeling bleh and wanna listen to some sad tunes. Let's be mopey together.
1. Ha Dong Gyun: From Mark (
lyrics)
This guy has an incredible voice, and yet this is the only song of his I know. I should fix that...
I definitely chose this one for the song, not the video, but it's still a bit interesting. Yes, those are the lyrics of the songs that keep popping up, in case you're wondering.

2. 10cm - Nothing Without You
I've posted a
10cm song on here before, when I saw them live at BML Festival. This song was barely on my radar until a couple weeks ago when I woke up with it in my head and a craving to listen to it about 20 times.
Lyrics in the video.

3. Monni - Forever In My Heart
I actually love Monni for their rock music, and I'm excited to (hopefully) see them at Lets Rock Festival in September! But this mopey love song ain't bad either. I hate the music video, so here's a live version from last year's BML festival. Live. Unf. Just listen to his voice in that chorus. <3

4. Nell - To Regret 미련에게
It wouldn't be a post full of sad music without a little Nell. They're in my top 5 Korean bands and they're also scheduled to play at Let's Rock Festival, so I really really really hope I can go see them!
I already posted about them in my
Rainbow Fest recap, and any friends who read my non-Korea blog may have already heard "Rain of Leaves" and "
The Day Before," both of which are beautiful songs for rainy days. The music video for The Day Before is probably one of the saddest MVs I have seen, not just for Korean music but for music in general. I cried. Several times. That's not liquid sweetener he's pouring into this coffee.
Anyways, today I'll post a different sad song. This is "To Regret," as in "Dear Regret," not the infinitive of the verb.

5. Kim Jin Ho - 아무것도 팔요가 없는 사랑 (something like "love that doesn't need anything")
What the heck, let's make it an even five. This one's really recent - it just came out 2 weeks ago!
Enough of that. Time to watch Teen Wolf. Preparing for dramatic mood shift in 5, 4, 3, 2...
