19th Birthday Bash: Em Me

Jun 13, 2006 06:55

This (today's entry) will be spent talking about (well, mainly and mostly) the events of yesterday.  8:13--woke up feeling not so awake--had to leave for work.  Work was dumb, as usual :) Emily picked me up from work--went back to her place (her mom's) and showered...then we both napped on the couch after watching about five minutes of the smurfs on CN.  We woke up and Em swept the kitchen floor and we both mopped (nasty dirty mop)

[[to the side: man Emily's basement is creepy--her house is freaking old, one of those original plantation houses, and it has all this original stuff in hte basement, which is where the slaves lived as well apparently]]

But anyways...Jodi was the first to arrive (as I was straitening my nappy hair), and we chilled until Samantha arrived, then we chilled some more.  Em, Jodi and I went outside to see if we could set up the volleyball net, and there was what looked like a dark blue rubber ball sitting near the sidewalk, so I impulsively moved towards it and kicked it like I would any rubber ball.  It moved about a foot and a half as my foot throbbed in pain and Emily was all like, "Sara, that was a bowling ball!"  (I'm thinking at this point, 'now why in the HELL do they have a fucking bowling ball sitting in their lawn!?  GOSH!)'  So I'm like laugh crying trying not to cry but gosh it hurt so bad, and Jodi and Em are all laughing and trying to comfort me at the same time and I end up going over (with a limp) to sit on the chair/bench swing.  Samantha came out shortly thereafter to sympathize while laughing at my 'moments' that I tend to have more often that not, and we watched Jim, Emily, John and Jodi put up the volleyball net.  Then we all went inside and Dustin called needing a ride so we went to pick him up.  (Oh yeah, beforehand, we'd driven to a dollar store and bought 24 rolls of toilet paper, 3 bags of forks and a roll of Saran wrap.  K, so we pick up Dustin, he buys a 24 roll pack of toilet paper from Wal-Mart, (where I rode a two-foot high bike)  Oh yeah this girl in the line behind Dustin was so freaking unnaturally dark she must have been born in a tanning booth.

Then we went back to the house after I made turkey noises at some guy outside of Kroger.  Dan was at the house (he almost didn't come 'cause he wasn't feeling well) and so we all sat down to watch Ring 2 (Dustin was outside playing soccer when it first started, he told me to let him know when the devil had left the house) so anyways it didn't really scare me very much--it probably would have if I'd been alone, but oh well :) the end of it was the scariest when Samara was climbing up the inside of the well after Rachael.  That was rather messed up, it just looked nasty.  Dan, he's so silly--during this one part of the movie he asked, "Why do deer attack cars?"  Wow.  It's okay Dan, just keep watching the movie.  Dustin ended up coming in about halfway through the movie and sat by me.  Afterwards, oh wait, we stopped the movie to open presents and eat cake and ice cream and Dustin bodyslammed me with one of those huge exercise balls and ate my face after kissing his cake.  Eric ate Emily's face.  So during this time Samantha's dad came and picked her up.  Then we all went back into the living room to finish the movie.

To make a long story short, we wrestled a lot in the living room after the movie ended, and then we went teepeeing--forked the youth pastors yard and left shaving cream literally everywhere on his property.  We toilet-papered Chelsea's house and got it all on film, especially the chase afterwards because Dustin lit firecrackers on their porch (her dad is freaking scary) we'd driven off really fast, but some idiots in the car wanted to 'go back' to see if anything had happened.  Unlucky for us, the dad was waiting in his car and tried to cut us off by stopping in the middle of the road.  We swerved around him after pausing for a minute and he squealed his tires in reverse and took off after us we were freaking out.  But yeah we were terrified it was like a 90 + mile an hour chase down back roads and crap.  Eric kept his cool and we got away.  Wow but that was scary though.  And yep.  That was Mine and Emily's 19th Birthday Bash.  We were born 5 days apart!  :)  I'm the eldest.
