Finally went into the ocean today! It was fun til a wave knocked me over and my legs went in separate directions. The waves and undertow here are really rough and strong. Ass is now broken. Seriously, it HURTS. Both cheeks and all down the backs of my thighs :( I hope I can move tomorrow. I'm okay sitting, but getting up or down, or walking, is agony. OW.
Yesterday we went to Ocracoke, which is where the infamous pirate Blackbeard loved to drop anchor and drink rum. There was a little museum and we got to ride a ferry. Today was spent going a few towns over and doing a bit of shopping. We let a cute boy on a skateboard ride in the back of our (Jenn and Jamey's) truck for about 15 miles, yay for attractive hitchhikers!
My favorite aunt is here and I've spent a ton of time with her, it's been wonderful. All in all, A+ vacation, I'm sorry tomorrow is our last day. I feel so spoilt, now 'm used to sitting outside watching falling stars, listening to the waves crash. It's humid but there's an amazing breeze coming off the water. I wish all of you were here to enjoy this, it's pretty much perfect.
