Made it home, finally, after a summer of being adventurous.
Mostly done unpacking, but have to pack for Austin in less than three weeks anyway.

Found Tupperware on my desk under a pile of papers. Don't know how long it's been there; probably since before I left. I'm scared of it, so I covered it back up.
Nose bled intermittently for the past hour or so. Maybe I laughed too hard during The Daily Show/Colbert Report.
Nairobi has bloomed since I've been gone; my dad's thumb is greener than mine.

Contemplating getting bangs. Because even though there are nine million refugee children in the world, the state of my hair concerns me.
Convinced my mom she doesn't have to move to Austin next year to take care of me.
Must read Report to Greco and selections from an anthology of contemporary American poetry. Feeling a bit of inertia, though. Not quite ready to get back in that mindset.
