Well, not necessarily big things, but I have some good NaNoWriMo newsy-news. I went to a local write-in yesterday, and got inspired! I've written about six thousand words in just over the past 24 hours. Feelin' good, especially because I hit...
40,000 WORDS!
I'm 80% through! And I'm so damn happeh!
I have also planned the mysterious death of my main character's coworkers (spurring her into finally moving into the larger plot I sketched out on Nov 1st) and have introduced her to another coworker who will eventually join her and her girlfriend in an amorphous we-all-love-each-other-now-lets-have-a-kid kind of way. XD
Also, I'm re-watching 2001: A Space Odyssey. BRILLIANT! Brilliant, I say! I haven't seen it in years. It's really good though. Yes.
Also, the Tri-Delta initiation weekend is now over! So the rest of the semester looks to be considerably more relaxed, and I am feeling much more sisterhood and kindness these days. I got to bring home a LOT of Blackforest cake. It has been subli-ime.
The guy who was sitting across from me just stood up. He was wearing skinny jeans and white "leather" kind of shoes. *raised eyebrows*
