So I found this person's work on Flickr
and as far as I can tell, they aren't wood block prints, but the
actual carved blocks that she's painted as standalone pieces.
Very lovely stuff, very tactile and probably a lot of fun to touch,
or see under different lighting conditions. I bet they'd make
great prints, too.
The celebrity angle is kinda kitchy, but I think her stuff would work
just as well with random people, or sunflowers, shoes, etc.
